What results will Dean/Clark/Edwards have to pulloff...
to be considered Kerry's primary challenger going into Super Tuesday?

Here is what I think:

Edwards: Win TN or VA, finish 2nd in WI behind Kerry

Clark: Win TN or VA, finish 2nd in WI behind Kerry

Dean: Kerry wins TN and VA, win WI

1. I think
if Edwards and Clark split the southern vote in TN and VA, they will remain in the fray until at least WI. Dean has to do well today and tomorrow and then really well in WI.

If either Edwards or Clark win both TN and VA, that candidate will be the "alternative" and we'll have a head to head matchup.
