Kerry Signs Open Letter Urging Emergency Paper Ballots
Open Letter Sent to 50 States Urges Emergency Paper Ballot Plans and Procedures for November Election
October 12th, 2006 @ 4:36 pm

Brad Friedman of BradBlog reports today that an urgent letter has been sent to the “Governors, Secretaries of State and State Election Directors of all 50 states urging them to immediately create and implement plans and procedures for allowing the use of Emergency Paper Ballots at every local jurisdiction during this November’s general election.”

The letter has been signed by a “broad coalition of more than 50 Election Integrity Advocate groups, congressional members, elections officials, computer scientists, attorneys and journalists” including Sen. Barbara Boxer, Sen. John Kerry, Rep. Rush Holt, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Leon County, FL Supervisor of Elections Ion Sancho, OH elections attorney Cliff Arnebeck and University of Iowa computer scientist Doug Jones. It comes on the heels of “Federal legislation recently introduced in both the U.S. House and Senate.”

3. Look for many lawsuits after the election
And as well we should sue various states that don't use ballots with a paper trail. I say make sure the whole system grinds to a halt from litigation if we get more "Ohio's" and "Floridas".

It's better than starting a real bloody revolution when the GOP finally steals ALL districts.

Just yet another reason Dems should not fight the Second Amendment. Don't want the rednecks having all the guns.

9. Boxer and Kerry - and thank undergod for RFK Jr.
Alot of this has been in the pipes for awhile, but for some of us it feels like forever. I knew the moment I heard Jon Winer believed in machine fraud that others believed it, too, and it made me feel hopeful. Just wish convincing colleagues didn't have to take so long.

10. Rush Holt has been in the lead on election fraud since 2003
Edited on Thu Oct-12-06 08:54 PM by AtomicKitten
with his bills HR-2239 and HR-550. Mark Crispin Miller has been giving lectures around the country on election fraud for quite some time; I just saw him here in SF last week.

Let's spread the "leadership" kudos around appropriately on this issue and give credit where credit is due.

5. Kick!
I can't believe that we are even discussing this.

Our soldiers and Marines are dying for "democracy" and we don't even have it here.

8. the emergency paper ballot measure proposed by Dodd and Pelosi
was ignored by the Republican House before the session ended. Unfortunately Republican governors will also ignore any appeal to safeguard the vote.
