7. I'm sorry
I thought we would win. And now they say Kerry has 50%? That is not good. Not that I'll give up of course.

9. ya
since we won Seattle, if it makes a big difference, and with so few votes in currently, it will have a big great effect.

8. reporting is by precinct
Washington state has irregular population concentration.
The Seattle vote is the one that always carries the state.
Seattle precincts are yet to be reported.
Expect high Dean numbers in Seattle.

11. Local report....2-1 Dean over Kerry in Seattle.
There's close to a third of all delegates in Seattle.

13. That's what I'm asking! Only 30% of the delegates are counted!
This is a horrible call unless they have some really good exit polling.

15. I'm totally confused too. Only about 8000 votes
have been posted at Yahoo! News, yet this represents over half of the precincts--and out of a population of more than 3000000 persons? Even if you assumed that only 1000000 are Democrats, wouldn't more vote? It seems strange that WA would have precincts with such vastly different sizes.

Seattle hasn't been reported, and they have many of the delegates. Seattle often tips the scale.

18. I know. Which is why I'm wondering why they are calling it.
There are still several thousand delegates that have yet to be counted...

Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 07:18 PM by RUMMYisFROSTED
With less than 13,000 in. Seattle definately has not reported.

Edit: 26,961 delegates.
