1. Virginia At The Crossroads

---- Virginia has come a long way, politically, in the last 10-15 years, undoubtedly,... but there are still quite a few neanderthals around, as well. One hopes that Webb will be the beneficiary of the "Tim Kaine turnout," ... and that Webb will take the election in a somewhat easier fashion than the polls project. Republicans staying home, fundamentalists defecting, and democrats busting their asses to GOTV. That would do it, it seems to me. And it is important that Virginia move into the "blue" column once and for all.

Webb is so much better than allen (almost anyone would be) i still cant believe we cant put allen away, i guess there must be some latent racism in the rest of the state. And damn 56% of Northern Viginia? why dont we have more congresscritters from VA with totals like that?
