Unlikely I know.........tough choice. Lieberman would occasionally vote with the Dems but longterm would be difficult to rut out of office. Schlesinger who would likely be one and done and then a real Dem would likely have the seat.

2. An ogre's choice.
Die fast or die slow. You'd have to take Liebermen but it would suck to do so.

3. my thoughts exactly... death by firing squad or hanging?
I am so friggin angry at Liarman Lieberman and frankly have to respect the repug for being true to his ideals, at least. On the otherhand, Liarman Lieberman would vote with us on environmental and many labor and woman's issues, so I guess there is at least that.

Yech.... I just want him to go away, but I sure as hell don't want him to take us down with him...

7. Clothespin my nose and vote Joemental. What would Lamont do?
That's exactly what Lamont said he would do. As a Democrat, he pledged to vote for the Democratic nominee. It's a thing called loyalty.

6. I drive all over CT. There are Lamont signs everywhere.
Practically no "I'm sticking with Joe" signs.....just a sparse lawn here and there. I've not seen one for the repug guy. What I do see are clusters of Lamont signs in front of lots and lots of homes.....yeah!
Lieberman should have saved himself a lot of embarrasment in this looming loss.
The repugs pumped $6million into his campaign in just the last few weeks.

The man's made too many wrong choices...he's out of touch with our CT people.

For me it's the Dept of Homeland Security debacle and the 'gang of useless 14' debacle.
I hope that Dept's dissolved as soon as the Dems get in power.....it's a horrific waste of money.
