Help Out The Dixie Chicks!
Remember those ads that NBC has chosen not to show?

Let them know how you feel about it!

Dial 212-664-4444 now to be connected with NBC's switchboard!

1. Aside from the issues, you do realize that you are advocating
a network TO air more advertizsing? I don't watch teevee anymore, partly because of advertising so I guess that is why it catches my eye.

Is there a speech guarantee for advertising? Better than forcing the networks to accept adds is creating any kind of "news" about the fact that they won't - THAT is better than adds.

2. Sure.
I get your point, but if others get to do this by purchasing ads, why can't the Dixie Chicks be granted the same amount of freedom without using unfounded bias? (Example: NBC: "we feel it's cutting down on the President too much.") How will we know if it is never revealed to the public?

I do not feel that it is relevant that you do not watch TV, because it is apparent that a good majority still do! Why just give the 'Right' a bigger edge on media without a fight?

3. I'm just saying a better strategy might be to call OTHER networks
and make a controversy (FREE advertising) about the fact that NBC won't advertise the movie. Draws attention, creates curiosity and costs little. Hey I'm a cheapskate and I have seen how well boycotts of movies usually have the oposite affect. In fact you might want to get some "patriots" to protest in front of theaters as well.

4. I Agree With You.
But I still believe that people should stay on NBC as well.;-)
