OMG! Get this embarrassment off my TV.
It's getting worse! Now it's a book report on "Frod"'s life.

5. The man simply can't read. |
|
He obviously practiced for days, but he must be so far out of his element (following a TV anchor) that he screwed up his first sentence.
And what was the angry delivery about?
Weird.

6. I don't think it is that complex |
|
* is angry that Ford would disagree with him about *'s legacy--the war and in *'s mind that is enough to lash out. I think the mispronouceation is just petty, petulant acting out. This is about as far as he can go in a highly public situation. Someone should spank the "president" or at the very least give him a time-out. With my grandchildren that's one minute for each year (4 and 5 minutes) and then they have to tell me why they received the time out and how they could avoid it the next time.

4. I assume he is telling everyone Gerry's resume. |
|
He played football. He served in the Navy. He went on to run for Congress and served this country honorably. Blah Blah Blah.
W. is the worst person to every step in front of a microphone. He has no skill with language and no understanding of human feelings.
I was watching until he took to the podium and started off by welcoming "all the former presidents and first ladies" (at least Brokaw named each and every one, there aren't THAT many of them!). Now I'm watching the History channel.

7. OMG--It's like the Monty Python skit ... |
|
with "Book at Bedtime" ... wherein the readers only get so far before stumbling over simple words ... "They came to the Russian bo... bod... bolder..." "Border!" (something like that).

8. Two of my favorite buttons on the remote: |

One is MUTE. The other is PREVIOUS CHANNEL. Of course I only know this by memory. Thanks to junior, I have long since worn the writing off of both.

9. Brilliant response, tin! |
|
I should've used one or more of those buttons yesterday, but watching Bush* "speechify" is like watching a train wreck...
Ya gotta see it to believe it.
