11. Most definitely. I think the Repugs need to sit in the Naught Corner
for the next two years, myself, until they learn how to play nice in the sandbox.

These bastards have taken action that directly affects my family, my friends and their families. In their disdain for the working people of this country, they've taken back that which was hard won, sometimes with blood, by my forebears. They have gleefully butchered people for the benefit of the wealthy, they have worked for the benefit of wealth and screwed the rest of us, etc.

Fuck the republicans. Shut them out whenever possible.

not much will get done if Democrats in Congress cannot get some Republican support.

In reality they should listen to them. Some of them anyway.

41. Republicans are free to vote in favor of Democrat-authored bills.
I'm trusting our leadership to put forth well-crafted legislation that is clearly beneficial to our country as a whole.

In fact, I'm assuming the measures have largely been written, typed up and readied for submission by now, so no further nattering by Republicans is necessary during these first 100 days.

If some Republicans want to vote against legislation favored by the voters, just because it says in plain letters "Brought to You by the Democratic Party," let 'em.

If they want to do right by America... well, c'mon along.

then discard what they hear and vote their mind. That robs the thugs of the arguement that they weren't included in the process. "Yes, we heard what you said, but we disagree and since we have the majority, we will vote the way the people who elected us want us to vote, unlike you who listen to corporations, the wealthy, funda-mental cases and the neocons, ignore your constituents and vote to line your own pockets".

50. There's no reason to.
The GOP has proven that they will always abdicate their responsibility of oversight of the Executive branch for political expediency. At best they're lazy and unprofessional - at worst they're traitors and criminals. Neither position is needed by the new Congress.
