I heard just the first part of it and found it kind of interesting in that * cited Ford's military service - * cited Ford's fighting for his country, etc.
I was laughing to myself that if someone had to deliver a eulogy for * that they would have to say something like:
"When the country needed him during our challenge in Viet Nam, George W. Bush's father got him out of having to serve in Viet Nam and got him into the Texas Air National Guard - where while his fellow peers were dying in the jungles of Viet Nam - George was living it up - drinking and carrousing. He ultimately went AWOL from the guard."
I didn't hear the rest of *'s eulogy - but thought that it might be funny to take the text of *'s eulogy for Ford and create a fictious eulogy for * using somewhat the same tone - but with the truth about *'s life, service and record as pResident.
Ford was a football player in college. * was a cheerleader.
Ford pardoned a criminal when he took office. * needed a pardon.
etc, etc, etc.
I did read somewhere that * might have a problem finding a journalist like Brokaw to say a few nice words about him. Then I got to thinking that they would have to find a 'faux journalist' - like a Rush, Hannity or even a Snow to speak for *. Certainly 'Stretch' would be called.
