Don't you just have to laugh out loud when a "conservative" republican says we must set aside politics? bush is as good a comedian as limbaugh.

4. Let's see...Set aside politics

Hmmm...well, when the Republicans actively STOP saying the word "Liberal" as if it leaves a horrible, nasty taste in their mouths while simultaneously correctly using "Democratic"...then, maybe we'll talk.

I told my daughter a couple of years ago, "Liberals have a lot of patience and tolerance. But don't ever piss off a Liberal." Frankly, I've been pissed for a while.

trent lott is also a budding comedian. He was whining the other day about a Jackson MS lawyer withdrawing his name for a judgeship. lott said it was due to the "recent" spat of partisanship in Washington. These guys are just too funny.

11. I find it incredibly telling

that the number one reason bush and his administration of criminals did not want the dems to have a majority is the exposure of truth. Not because of any desire to do what is right for the country but to hide their plethora of crimes. I hope the dems are intensely mean and thorough. And I also hope they behave themselves in the process. Also incredible is that bush supporters who trashed 100 million checking out Clinton's sex life find it outrageous that anyone would think bush needs to be investigated.

15. It's PR strategy 101

He's grabbing the headlines and trying to pre-frame the Democrats before they get a couple of Breaking Live! minutes on MSNBC or CNN when Pelosi is handed the gavel. Odds are against any live coverage of Reid getting his gavel, although if it's Cheney who's doing the act there might be a chance of it.

Today is the last day that the Republicans have control of the cameras, despite their lame acting job this morning whining about being persecuted innocents. This leads right into the Sunday talk shows, all set up for Bush (the Commander in Chief in case we'd forgotten) to address the Nation and once again display his "resolve for victory".

I just wonder if Bush will really lay down the gauntlet and choose to make his 'address' during prime time on Capitol Hill with Pelosi (and Reid?) sitting behind him.

Its outrageous I tell you. A good analogy would be if bush, a liar and a criminal, said lets aside lying and crime. What would he do all day? Ted Haggard saying lets set aside hiring gay prostitutes. limbaugh saying lets set aside drug abuse. cheney saying lets not shoot our friends in the face while drunk.

when Clinton was president they can not justify opposing investigating bush for anything. The only reason they have their panties in a wad is because they know the truth about bush will most likely put the gop in permanent minority status and being good members of the party of integrity they want to hide the truth from the american people. where FR members take responsibility for the failures and the lies of the bush presidency. If it weren't for them there would be no bush presidency. We all know how honest people on "conservatives" sites are so the testimonials must be plentiful.

they just blame Bush. Even those that have just that little bit of courage are told to "Shut up" by the others.

I have never seen one of them, not one, with the honesty to say the he himself was wrong, that he himself made a mistake, that he himself had steered the country on the wrong course. Not one. Not ever.

Years ago old Rush used to spend quite a bit of time talking about personal responsibility. Where are his fans now? The Republicans have spent us into the grave. The Republicans lied us into war. Rush-voters made this happen. They voted as they were told. Where are the ones who will admit their mistakes and modify their behavior? The Republican Party lied to their voters. Period.

No one wants to admit to being a fool, I guess.

It's a pity we are all not better men.

The trouble with that is that there are lives on the line. Our kids are fighting and dying for Bush and Bush alone. They pay. Those who supported Bush make excuses.
