Who has more appeal in the General Election?

Poll question: Who has more appeal in the General Election?

We all know who the front-runner is. The media force-feeds it to us hourly. The more interesting race seems to be Clark v. Edwards. Clark has beaten him twice but each time by 1%. Senator Edwards did have a convincing victory in his home state of South Carolina.

Between these two, who would have more national appeal?

I think plays better nationally but Edwards certainly can get people fired up as well.

Clark has beaten Edwards as many times as Edwards has beaten Clark if you look at all the primaries and Caucauses post-Iowa.

2. Clark, but I beleive Edwards has more than Kerry

I'm for a Clark/Graham ticket, which I believe would win comfortably.

Edwards as Attorney General and then VP on the 08 ticket

5. Clark will have the Dems with him in the Fall AND

All of our guys will get the Democratic vote, the base is MOTIVATED. But there is something about having served in the military for 34 years defending our country that defuses some of the distrust many Republicans feel for virtually all Democrats. And there is a large number of Republicans this year who are uncomfortable with Bush. Clark is the guy who they most easily can cross over to, because of his service to America. His progressive positions don't get in the way because they are spoken by a Four Star General.

I think a longer nomination period would be good. And I'd be very happy with either Clark, Edwards, or Kerry. Got my hometown loyalty, tho.

Anyone can still win this nomination, with 80% of the delegates still up for grabs. But then the media and DLC had their candidate picked after Iowa (if not before). Even though Dean remained the true frontrunner (in terms of delegate count) until just last week.

old school conservatives could join if we ran that kind of a cannidate because they are fucking pissed at bush for this he might not get the libertarians becausse of waco but i could see him getting the old school conservatives

Dennis Kucinich, after all, finished ahead of both Clark and Edwards in the last two contests (ME and WA).

But hey, if you don't mention such things they never happened. That seems to be the media's tack, anyway -- and it works for them!
