Salazar VP?

"Sen. Ken Salazar (D-CO) said "that while he is not 'actively' seeking a vice presidential nomination in 2008, he has not foreclosed the possibility," reports the Daily Sentinel."

It makes sense that we now have a Democratic Governor in Colorado. I don't think it'll fly here though.

1. Hillary would likely pick Sen. Bill Nelson who could help win FLA
Hillary and Obama and/or Salazar would be two novelties -- first woman and first minority. Too much new for US voters.

3. Say what you like
He's popular in our state, and many people feel that he really has his finger on the pulse of Colorado. Even when I disagree with him, I usually have to admit that most people in Colorado would support whatever it is he's doing. Having him on the ticket would improve our chances here, and in other states like New Mexico and Nevada.

4. SO while 100 senators run for President/Vice President, who is gonna
get something done round here? That's what I want to know.

Evan Bayh withdrew because his committee's finding found that the people in the middle (the mass voters) don't want a lot of Washington in their top ticket politicking.
