12. i heard back in 2000 that everyone mispronounced the name.

it is pronounced chee-nee but shooter never corrects anyone when they mispronounce it. maybe it's his version of witness protection. :-)

I once saw Lynne Cheney saying so. Somehow it never got corrected soon enough and they're stuck with Chay-nee.
