Bullshit MSM Meme du Jour: "Pelosi is the warm-up for Clinton"
Edited on Fri Jan-05-07 02:40 PM by Husb2Sparkly
I have now heard this notion one time too many.

The Democrats (strategically? hint hint) selected a woman as Speaker so there will be an easier time for the all-but-annointed Hillary Clinton to run for President.

This thread is NOT about Speaker Pelosi or Senator Clinton. It IS about the bullshit that gets spread by the stupid/complicit fucking media assholes who see their job as spoon feeding bullshit to the American people.

I heard several MSNBC talking heads say this. I heard several talking head guests say this. I heard it on my local teevee newz. I heard it on DC's all newz WTOP radio.

Unless you pay attention, you miss how this sort of stinking bullshit gets into the public consciousness.

Pelosi is the warm-up act for Clinton ..... as ***IF*** the Democrats had this all mapped out and no one in the party will speak about it because they're so unified - as they always are (extreme sarcasm).

Can someone please gift me a break?

What is truly frightening is the obvious central control of such a message. Who's behind it?

2. The conspiracy part is bullshit.
Yeah, this was timed JUST RIGHT... as if Pelosi hadn't been our Minority Leader for years leading up to this.

The part of it paving the way for Hillary Clinton, however, may have some truth to it. I think Americans might me more inclined to vote for a woman after seeing one with so much power and all hell not breaking loose. Shallow as it may be, I think Americans may be that shallow.

3. What is sad is that corpmedia makes EVERYTHING about the Bushes and Clintons and take credit
away from anyone else who achieves on their own as Nancy Pelosi has done.

There is a benefit to this game for them - it keeps the focus of control of government on two iconic figureheads - Bushes push the fascist agenda while keeping the social conservatives happy, while the Clintons cover up for the Bushes and put the happy face on the fascist agenda by keeping the social progressives distracted.
