3. I've been thinking about ...
... a Barack Hussein Obama and Keith Ellison ticket.

Just the discussion of that possibility would cause Republican heads to :nuke: across the country.

4. I want a governor who actually cares about MA and not about
Edited on Fri Jan-05-07 06:11 PM by Mass
doing something else. We already had 3 in a row who only wanted to go somewhere else.

So, as much as I would like to see Patrick run after at least one run, not now, please. MA needs him too much!!

But I like your idea!!

5. I think this was meant as humor.....
But it's wishful thinking, thinking about the GOP reaction to such a ticket :spank:

8. We have 2 senators that have been there for more than 20 years
Edited on Fri Jan-05-07 06:16 PM by Mass
(I cannot remember when Kennedy was elected).

None of them has run for president before having been senators for more than 10 years.

My congressman has been there for more than 30 years too.

It seems that it is the GOPers who cant stand MA and want to leave.

They are already pulling there hair out after losing the Congress.

Shall we start producing bumper stickers?

12. romney's reign of terror
Edited on Fri Jan-05-07 06:24 PM by welshTerrier2
romney said nothing and did nothing for four years ... zip, nada, zilch ... he was close to invisible ...

one thing the national Dem party should take national is Patrick's call for citizen involvement ... he is very sincere when he talks about this issue ... he fully understands that government can be made more effective and more responsive when citizens "pitch in" ... it's not just rhetoric with him; i think this is a very deeply held belief ...

instead of "elitist Washingtonism" that many seem to adhere to, advocating citizen activism and citizen participation is the way to go ... too many even in the Dem party haven't learned that lesson yet but they will ... i have increasingly come to believe that our involvement here, and all over the web, is leading a charge for much greater participation ... it can't happen soon enough ...

15. For the record
They are now referred to as "Republics" or Repubics" whichever you prefer. Republicans are members of an extinct species that believed that the feds should mind their own business, not yours, and that you shouldn't spend money you don't have. As I said, extinct.
