than stumbling through high school, learning more about football than about math or literature, and as soon as you get your meaningless diploma, shipping off to overthrow our economic competitors and slaughter brown people?

Seems like the perfect arrangement to me.

6. Army Top Fuel Dragster

Won the NHRA World Championship in dramatic fashion in 2006.

Tony Schumacher had to win in the final AND set a new elapsed time record to beat first place Doug Kalitta (tuned by Rahn Tobler, soon to be Shirley Muldowney's ex-husband)

To add to the drama, in final qualifying round Saturday, starter Rick Stewart gave the shut off signal to Tony because he saw fluid leaking. Tony did not shut it down, and Rick sent them off anyway. they were fined $20,000 but incurred no points penalty.

Tony won the race AND set the record, thus getting the championship. I was deeply diappointed, because Doug Kalitta is a sentimental favorite and he has never won a championship. Tony did win in very dramatic and heroic fashion, I must admit.
