Whaaaaaaaaaat is up with this??
While enduring the network news today, I had to see Lieberman and McCain making their statements of support for a large escalation of troops. If that wasn't enough, there, on two different channels was the big 'D' next to Lieberman!!!@@.. ???? Where was the big 'I'. How embarrasing to keep identifying him as a Democrat. Gads, where were these people when the election was going on.

Yep, I wrote a few letters today.. of course no one responded. This has got to be fixed. I've seen it prior too, the networks calling him a Democrat. This is intolerable! Is anyone else noticing this?.. how they keep putting the 'D' by his name?

wikipedia:

Elected as a Connecticut for Lieberman candidate. Caucuses with the Democratic Party, and listed as an "Independent Democrat" on Senate rolls.

2. It's just more of the same old crap.
The media got terribly confused during the Foley scandal, and kept putting a (D) behind his name "by accident."

Just the other day, CNN ran a story on the whereabouts of Osama bin Laden with the headline "The Hunt for Obama." Another accident, I'm sure.

So what they're doing with Lieboy is almost truthful by their standards. After all, he was once a Democrat. Sometime in the late 18th Century, if memory serves.

3. He is awful, isn't he?
Lieberman is probably the closest thing this congress has to its very own whore-in-residence. There are a few wannabe contenders, but at least to my way of thinking none come close to Joe for sheer lack of principles.

5. Maybe he looks at it from Israel's point ?
I watch that show with McCain and they both seem off the wall as to how the vote went. Joe has always been a Dem. voter until this love of this war. McCain you can understand as he is a military man by training and family history and they more of less think force can fix things. He is also some what back in the 40's in his thinking. Like Reagan. But for Joe L. I can not figure. Lord he went South is the Civil Rights thing. Can it be that he is thinking more for the other country Israel than the USA on this war? I hope half this site does not jump on me for saying this.

6. Back once more. Didn't Joe say something like this----
We have to keep with the President and I think he should have said we should stick with the Constitution. That is the one he took the oath to and not the President. So many seem to mix those two things up. I do not think even Bush under stand it.

7. The media should call him "(I)" or "(CFL)."
Lieberman isn't a Democrat. The Democratic candidate was Ned Lamont. Lieberman defeated the Democrat.

8. still can't figure how lieberman's 2000 and 2006 opponents got the EXACT same vote counts
477,044 Does that make sense? what are the odds of that coiincidence? I don't know of anyone here in CT that voted for him.
lieberman's an 'israeli firster'. he wants the us soldiers to do israeli's dirty work in the region.
