Presidential straw poll at Florida State Fair in February,..sponsored by DFA

Our Hillsborough County Democratic Executive Committee will have a booth at the Florida State Fair (held at the Fairgrounds in Tampa from February 8-19, 2007). Longtime DFA member and HCDEC treasurer Tom Squires had the brilliant idea of conducting a presidential straw poll during the Fair.

He has contacted all possible Democratic candidates and got a very
good response from most. Some of them have even shown interest in
coming to Tampa!

If you plan on attending the Fair, please stop by our booth in the
Expo Hall and cast a ballot. It should be lots of fun to see the
results.

I thought some might be interested in dropping by the booth. No straw polls in Florida statewide last time. We had some local stuff but that was about all. So there will at least be one in a pretty prominent place.
