"Freedom" . . . .Whad'ya mean?
The word has been so cheapened by Madison Ave, that it is becoming clear that vast swaths of the population have no idea anymore what it means.

Every Mother of toddlers know that you don't ask a 4 year old what he wants for lunch.. You ask "Do you want PB & J? Or do you want cream cheese?" Or for an older kid, "Do you want to clean up your room before or after you rake the lawn?"

"Points or Cash Back?"
"Paper or plastic?"
"Coke or Pepsi?"
Take off your shoes or take a bus. . . .

0~ . .Oh, I'm Proud to be an American, Where at least I know I'm "Free"...~0

Ask them what the hell they mean...

1. It's also been cheapened by the right wing...
"Freedom Fries"
"Freedom Tower"

Because of it, I prefer the word "Liberty" over "Freedom."
