The Republican lie that never gets old
Tony Snow today:
White House press secretary Tony Snow said Monday that Bush "understands there is a lot of public anxiety" about the war. On the other hand, he said that Americans "don't want another Sept. 11" type of terrorist attack and that it is wiser to confront terrorists overseas in Iraq and other battlegrounds rather than in the United States.
Hey Tony, you may want to consider that your boss had this to say back in 2003:
No, we've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th.

1. "[A]nother Sept. 11" - threat or promise?
It's amazing how useful 9/11 has been to these bastards.

Alert citizens may realize by now that the terrorist attack was funded, organized and operated by elements within our own government. But it does not matter how much a few of us know: Fear works amazingly well.

2. "Repeat it enough times, and they will believe it." Who said THAT first?
But I'm not sure it's working this time.

5. That would be Joseph Goebbels
"You tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Joseph Goebbels

3. OK
let's forget for a second that 9/11 was funded by Bushco allies...

So the Iraq War, which has cost over 3,000 American lives and 20,000 injuries is meant to stop another Sept 11 type attack?

It's worse than another attack!

4. That will keep the freepers happy but just the opposite is true. The more we piss off people in the
Middle East the more they are likely to want to try terrorist tactics against us. We cannot kill all the terrorists. The more we kill the more there are. We have to change plans. Stupid talk will get us killed.

6. Did you not the Tony Snow memo:
Praise the "decider" for once again he has decided to decide a decision that makes all previous decisions look like non-decisions in the great world that only the "Decider" can decide.
