Standing ovation at Georgetown basketball game, as Speaker Pelosi continues winning ways
CNN: Speaker Pelosi, bleeding Hoya blue, continues winning ways

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's victory celebration continued unexpectedly into the weekend when the first woman to lead Congress was spotted at a Georgetown Basketball game Saturday.

As the scoreboard's camera zoomed in and much of the crowd gave her a standing ovation, a widely grinning Pelosi waved a Georgetown t-shirt handed to her by the Hoyas' mascot, Jack the Bulldog, late in the second-half.

Pelosi's husband, Paul, is a graduate of Georgetown as are three of their children. The university awarded her an honorary degree in 2002.

Georgetown defeated No. 17 ranked Notre Dame, 66-48.

1. As much as the media and the right try to demonize her,
the american people love her. I think she is the greatest and most inspiring woman since Elanor

8. Don't Get Excited!
Although I love Pelosi, she was at a University. College kids tend to be very liberal. She is already being demonized by the "Liberal" press.

I truly hope the tide will start turning soon.

7. I noticed that too......
If she suited up she could probably give the Hoyas a solid 10 minutes off the bench!

She's like the energizer bunny only sharper.
