"The President has the ability to exercise his own authority if he thinks Congress has voted the wrong way."

These people obviously care nothing for the Constitution or for democracy. This man has decided he does not want to be President he wants to be Dictator. We can not let him be either, he must be impeached as soon as humanly possible.

2. For some odd reason
everyone seems to be afraid of the little prick. I thought by now we would have ITMFA. Seems the only way we're going to make that happen is for someone to take one for the team and give him a hummer. Get a bj get impeached, fuck the world over and kill lots of people and the next thing you know they're talking presidential library...go figure....

9. It is the Reagan gift - Reagan ignore the funding cut off Boland amendment - and MSM
Edited on Tue Jan-09-07 08:47 PM by papau
told us it really wasn't law until the USSC ruled on it, so it was not treason for Reagan to keep using tax dollars to have "our" thugs kill nuns and children in the Contra part of the Iran-Contra scandal.

Not impeaching Reagan was the worst mistake the Dems made in 1987.

10. Rebut Tony Snowjob
Must be the reason that the Legislative Branch is listed first and the Executive is second in the Constitution.

Must be why the Founding Fathers went with a Constitution-based federal republic with separation of powers instead of a monarchy with all powers to the dictator king. Does King George believe he is the President or a dictator?

If the President has the ability to exercise his own authority if he thinks Congress voted the wrong way.... then why do we have a Congress? On another thought... which I have the ability to perform... does georgie boy really know what he thinks?

12. Snow, Cheney and Gonzales should put their heads togethers
. . . and tell us exactly where this dictatorial authority they ascribe to the President comes from. I certainly don't find it in the Constitution.

I would wager to guess that authority can be found along side of Saddam's biochemical arsenal.
