3. I think he is an excellent choice.
He is an excellent speaker. He has been out front on many issues. He isn't a Presidential candidate (I believe), so his statements can't be seen as self-serving.

Why doesn't Sen. Durbin get more respect? He is the hardest worker there is with no selfaggrandisement...
