DeWine Takes Teaching Post At Ohio College

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- Former Sen. Mike DeWine is taking a teaching post at his hometown college. He'll share the insights he gained in more than 30 years in public office.

DeWine begins classes this week at Cedarville University, a Baptist college with an enrollment of 3,100 in southwest Ohio. He will serve as a visiting scholar at the school's Center for Political Studies.

DeWine will lecture in the upper-level class "Leadership and Decision-Making in Modern American Politics" with Mark Caleb Smith, director of the center. DeWine also will help the university set up its semester in Washington program, to begin in 2008.
