Afghanistan being screwed twice.

First abandoned in '03 when most of the troops were diverted to Iraq.

Now the puny number of troops in Afghanistan decimated again.

6. We should have known there was a reason he was putting off his announcement for so long

He was secretly starting the escalation because he knew the Congress would try to stop it, and he wanted to make sure that by the time he made his announcement it would be too late to stop it. We can still have the last word however. It is time to cut funding not just for the escalation, but for the entire war. The only funding that should remain in place is the funding to get our troops home.

8. No wonder Speaker Pelosi said that her meeting with him was

more of a notification than a consultation. He had already decided on his plan of action and didn't want anyone to try to talk him out of it.
