Is MSNBC our Fox news?

For years now on Fox news, the weekly standard would run ads for there magazine. Now I noticed recently that the Nation is running ads on MSNBC. Could O'Leilly be right?

MSNBC knows Olberman saved them and now all of there shows ratings are up because of him. Why would a neutral network run ads for a slanted Nation magazine.

than Time, for cripes sake. every MSM "news magazine" spent much of the last 6 years in total wetness and thrall to Bu$hCo. i don't always agree with everything in The Nation, but it's more truthful overall than any of the MSM "news magazines".

Keith's ratings have gone up, and O'Leilly's have gone down.

I'm not familiar with their anchors, but I saw one anchor laying down point after point against Bush in the hour before his big speech today.

But at least they have the guts to put a liberal show on and they should be applauded for that. However, Tucker, MAtthews, Scarborough, not liberal. With the exception of Matthews they are conservatives with a conscience and are angry with the President.

There is Olberman, and although Scarborough has been making efforts to be less obnoxious to liberals and Matthews could be worse, they are certainly not anything like I would like to see as a "liberal" channel. I think there is a chance that, given the increased popularity and power of liberals and Democrats today, it could steer in that direction. Olberman has been carrying the channel almost single handedly, it is true, but maybe thay will see that their most liberal commentator is their most popular, and act accordingly. I hope so.

It's not that he's less obnoxious to liberals, it's that he has decided to stop spewing propaganda for Bush because he realizes that defending him just isn't worth it.

MSNBC is much closer to being balanced than FAUX, no question about it, but it's not slanted to the left by any means. The Nation just advertises on MSNBC because they know that liberals are more likely to watch it than FAUX or CNN (which has lower ratings in general because it has become complete crap).
