2. And don't you absolutely LOVE the way Dick Durbin yanked the whole

9/11 yammering out from under bush and friends with one BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT stroke? He completely reframed and readjusted it to 9-1-1 as in - the Iraqis can't just dial 9-1-1 every time they get in trouble and we'll send in another 20 thousand troops. He just put a different spin on those three numbers. A completely different spin, different context, a new and different way to look at it. AND he had the last word, which means what HE said is the last thing people will have heard. So THAT'S what will stick in their minds in a fresher fashion than what bush said.

Holy COW, I am LOVING this!!!

I think I'll go get something to toast with - just because! Too busy taking notes during the speech(es) to grab for libations of any sort.
