10. Vilsack is running for VP position and will put up obstacles for other candidates in Iowa because
because Hillary doesn't want to do the many months of retail, living room to living room politics of actually having to answer regular Iowa voters who prefer DETAILED answers to their questions.

2. If Hilary is president and she supports the escalation, don't you think
that the first thing she'll be asked to do is draft Chelsea Clinton? I mean, the Clintons have been run through the wringer on everything else, I don't see why these tests will stop now.

6. Is she a peace candidate?
if not she can go piss up a rope. There was a time i admired her, but she's just another wolf in sheeps clothing, imho.

7. Just one more reason to eliminate the DLC.
This "Repuke-lite" corporate whore stuff has to stop.

It's time the Democratic Party became the party of the common people again.

12. I'm with you. If the DLCers like the Repuke agenda so much, they
need to leave the Democratic Party and join the GOP.

We need a party of the common people in the VERY worst way.

8. Why Do So Many People
Edited on Thu Jan-11-07 10:10 AM by Forrest Greene
...habitually refer to Ms Clinton by her first name? Ordinarily, I'd expect it was to insult through diminuation, but the use is usually by supporters. Do they all think she is their best-buddy girlfriend in our imaginary giant suburban high school of a culture?

11. It's framing... and like any good framing...
...most people pick it up without realizing that their word choice is doing some sort of damage. In this case the hidden purpose is to knock a powerful woman down to housegirl status. Now I'm no big fan of Senator Clinton, but she is a sitting Senator and she's on our team, so I believe she deserves more respect than that.

Good call.

NGU.

9. hate to burst your bubble...
...but the article is quoting Harold Ford's assumption of what the DLC will do if he is named to a position that, according to the article quoted, no offer has been extended for yet.

Quote: "I assume there will be an effort to help Senator Clinton's campaign, and I would support such an effort," Ford writes. "But the bottom line is that we will need a competitive candidate to endorse some or all of our policy agenda."

Regardless, why does the prospect of the DLC assisting the Clinton campaign bother you? If they're really the pariah of the Democrats, irrelevant and ineffective, as many on DU claim, surely this would be good news to those inclined NOT to support the DLC.

14. You want these critics to read?
Well, they do read. From their anti-Hillary 'don't know what they're talking about', script.

Thats about the size of it.. They all suffer from chronic low back pain.
