2. That's the neo-con "plan"....

to have the entire mid-east embroiled in hostilities and then hand it off the next President. They simply don't care what the effect will be. They've always wanted their wars in the middle-east to show those backward, uncivilized nomads who exactly is the biggest bully on the planet. They've always wanted to strut their stuff, beat everyone up and make them cry because they think that's what "leadership" is all about.
This is their swan song, their final act on the world stage and they're going to go out with as big a bang as possible no matter what the consequences. After all, the rapture will come sooner that way and they'll all be transported up to heaven in a flash of light and it won't be their problem any more. They're doing god's will, you see. They're crazy. As crazy as shit-house rats as my father used to say. They don't care. They simply don't care.
