7. Having met and listened to Ron Paul many times, let me just say this...
Clinton. 100% Clinton. Ron Paul is honorable & politically courageous and he's against the war, but he's wrong about everything else. So wrong that the Republicans would never even think about nominating him.

8. I would say
he would be another Goldwater, but Hillary is a self described Goldwater girl too! They could probably run together!

9. Depends, but probably Clinton.
I like a lot of right-wing libertarians, but Ron Paul isn't one of them.

11. This Paul guy's even OLDER than John McCain.
He'll be 73 as of voting day 2008. Waaaaaaay too fucking old, unless you're looking to set up a Soviet- or Chinese-style gerontocracy.

12. I will vote for the Democrat in the general election in 2008.
regardless of who that may be, however, with any luck that vote will be cast for the honorable Al Gore.

13. Paul deserves credit for having an ideological platform and sticking to it
Unlike much of our establishment DLC'ers. But libertarianism is really a threat to this country and would put us all at the mercy of the international corporations to an even greater degree.

Hillary is a nightmare candidate for us (and a dream for the right). Moreover, she's wrong on trade policy and the war(s).

I'd probably vote for Hillary, but with a clothespin on my nose.
