Here is my take on the debacle known as Iraq. Some is juicy, IMO.

After the invasion of Iraq, these thugs should have anticipated that most Iraqi men,suddnenly being unemployed would be pissed. He should have thought about how these unemployed engineers and other people who pumped oil for 40 years would feel about Halliburton, et al doing THEIR work.

So after years of no employment, these same people who must support their families joined militias bec of the MONEY! Now you have a civil war there, all because of these thugs and their lust for oil.

As an aside, Randi Rhodes said next week is the when the Brits cash in. The PSA (Production Sharing Agreement) is where the Brits get 40% of the oil revenue paying no taxes. This was "agreed" to by the Iraqis for our stellar rebuilding. Funny. how the Brits are beginning withdrawal within the next couple of weeks!

Randi calls it Profit Stealing Agreement. We are supposed to get the large cut of the profits. This is disgusting that our troops are getting killed for this.

And Tony Snow, that fvcking liar! When asked the other day about the Somalia attack in terms of when did the Prez know etc., Snow paused (he was shook)...he said the Prez didn't know!

At the Senate hearings, Pace was asked outright WHO ordered the attack on Somalia? He recoiled and said "President Bush."

As an aside, Randi Rhodes said this Somalia attack was under the radar...so Congress didn't even know about it. It gets worse. We attacked Somalia bec they found OIL there. We then paid the former Warlords to take charge. It all about OIL.

Can you say PNAC?

The investigations should start NOW.

I hope Conyers and Waxman are on to this. Hell, I will bet all the Dems know; that's why they have been so aggressive.

The PNAC idiots are still planning -- this time for invading Iran. And there is no hope that their skills in the planning department have improved. If they had improved their skills they would be trying to engage Iran rather than planning to attack. And of course, as with Iraq, it will be others who pay the price for the neo-cons mistakes.

7. It is a 30 years war now.

You can't implement a 30 year program to steal their oil without the occupation there to enforce it. This wholesale theft of 115 billion barrels of Iraqi oil by Bush and Blair on behalf of British Petroleum, Shell, Chevron and Exxon-Mobile, overturns everything Americans and Iraqis have been told for four years and changes the entire character of the wars. Permanent military bases become a requirement and withdrawal out of the question. This unconsionable act will cost many American lives, and cause problems for generations to come. We need legislation to undo these 30 year PSA leases. If we allow the theft of the oil, the genocide will continue.

They don't. They don't consider what regular people will do or think. They assume ordinary citizens, be they Iraqis or Americans, don't matter. Like good servant, we'll shut up and follow whatever our betters tell us to do: fight, vote, shop, go home and let us drill your oil. They didn't understand Iraq not because they don't understand Islam, but because they don't understand people.
