Watching the playoff game between the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles got me to thinking...
Thinking about the recent reports of the growing lawlessness in New Orleand...
Thinking about the cops who were charged with killing folks who just wanted to get the hell out of New Orleans after the Hurricane ..
Thinking about why the Super-dome is functioning for a high roller football party...
Thinking about endless string of New Orleans neighborhoods that have yet to see even see a backhoe come to down their street to clear the debris...
Thining about all the folks left on their own to clean up the mess....
Yes folks, the national media made a big deal about getting the Super-dome, their symbol of that once magical, mystical city by the Bayou, ready for football season to show the world that New Orleans was up and running....
Yet another matter of skewed priorities ..
Skewed toward the monied interests, the fat cats, doncha know...
I betcha there are thousands of ex-New Orleanians busting with pride about a football game being played in their old city while they were forced to relocate because of misplaced priorities ...
