I am so sick of this non-partisanship BS,
If I hear one more talking head extolling the innate goodness of any proposal so long as it is not tainted by having a Democratic or Republican parentage, I will scream. The fact of the matter is that divisions in Congress are not created by the parties. The parties have been created by people who have very different views on a wide array of questions. The idea that we would all be able to get along but for the partisanship of the parties is naive and dangerous. The cry for civility is really a demand that Democrats acquiesce to the incredibly destructive policies of the Bush regime. I say hurrah for partisan Democrats. Let the party with the best ideas for the American people prevail. And I am certain it will not be the party of Bush/Cheney/Limbaugh.

1. The "cry for civility" is scared Rethugs hoping Dems won't treat them the way they treated the Dems.

3. I agree with you...at this point Cheney has drawn the line in the sand
with his comments this morning. The Democrats better wake up and realize that the power that Congress has will be eliminated by the Administration. Fuck the remaining Repugs...who cares about their feelings and their self indignation.

4. It makes my blood pressure go up as well... You lost, Republicans. Get over it!
Throwing the Republicans out was NOT to "end the partisan bickering".

If memory serves, for 6 years there was hardly ANY "partisan bickering".
