Questions Bush Should Have Been Asked on 60 Minutes |
|
I contend the interview Bush conducted with 60 Minutes, which aired last night was incomplete. These are the questions I think the interviewer should have asked to President Bush:
1) Hasn't Iraq become closer to Iran after the war and all the things this administration has done?
2) Are you so willing to send more troops into Iraq because none of your family members, especially your daughters are not going to be affected by the surge in that they will not be in danger of being killed?
3) Haven't you tried this tactic before with the result being failure? How is this time different? How can it succeed?
4)Why does it seem that whenever military leaders disagree with your plans for Iraq you just retire them until you find someone who agrees with your plan?

Don't you think the right thing to do at this point would be to resign and ask the American people for forgiveness?
What are your plans post-impeachment?
Do you really think you are going to be able to avoid a long prison term?

4. I didn't like when the reporter said "Democrats have no plan". |
|
This is bullshit. Bush himself mentioned in his speech alternative plans that were presented to him (including sending troops to the borders to prevent insurgents coming in from other countries).
I find it ridiculous that Bush has gone on AFTER that speech to say Democrats or opponents to his plan have no plan when he HIMSELF admitted they did.

7. I think he should have been directly asked about the oil industry |
|
and if that has been a motivation for this war and if he and his cronies see any monetary profit from it.
Not related to Iraq, I would like a reporter to question him on global warming. I would like to hear his "theory" of climate change and why this administration is censoring scientific papers/opinions.
I would also love someone to ask him point blank about his religious views, especially about his belief in the "end times" and if this influences his policy.
He should also have been asked about the recent bombings in Somalia.

8. the questions were no doubt pre-approved |

there is no media access to the puppet that is not managed by rove.
he's fighting the democratic congress with this folksy honest murkin bullshit and the crumbling edifice of 60 minutes was chosen specifically for its legitimacy with middle murka & elderly shut-ins.
how old was the interviewer, 78?
