Rush just read a poll that says 2/3 of Repugs polled don't expect
to be back in the majority for another 40 years!!! He isn't exactly over-reacting to this news, probably will attack later in the show. This was a poll amongst Repugs, small minority wants to hit Dems hard and fast, the rest of them don't expect to win and feel the Dems should have their time. I'm sure he will visit this again in the show.

1. I'm guessing Rush secretly wants the Dems back in power
He obviously had more fun doing his show during the Clinton era.

7. I have said, on a number of occasions (and some "Voice of the People"/
"Letters to the Editor" published) that we needed to give the Republicans the jobs they are best suited for ... whining and crying about how the economy and such would be so much better if they were in power instead of the Democrats ...

2. OxyRush is tired of being on the defensive. It increases his
need for oxy, pork rinds, and potato chips.

6. Rush just denounced and was not very nice to Obama because
Obama is rooting for the Bears....He is from Illinois, right? Rush says now that he's declared for a presidential run, he should not have stated he was for the Bears and not the poor NO Saints....!!!! It reflected badly on him. God spare us...

8. But Condi said that she was a "Browns" fan
And then rooted for the Steelers in the Superbowl ...

Of course, the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys aren't in contention for the Superbowl, are they?

11. I agree that the mindset develops to just give up for a while and save energy
and money by NOT putting up the fight required to oppose the majority. That was definitely Terry McAuliffe choice on Sept. 11, 2001. He gave up on 2002 and 2004 and kept most of the money and organization centered in DC and occupied himself with the building of the headquarters for the party instead of the party infrastructure in the states that sorely needed their organizations rebuilt.

12. Lush should feel "liberated" to use his own words...
That "I no longer am going to have to carry the water for people who I don’t think deserve having their water carried."
