for not 'playing fair':nopity:, called for an adjournment (on Thursday a.m.)? Is he trying to stop the House from getting anything done?

to the dems using "heavy handed" tactics-can you believe the nerve of these people? I'm all for the payback is a bitch after the way they rammed bills down the dems throats for the last six years-they would hand them a bill that was the size of a book and expect them to understand what was in it in an hour-screw them-they are lazy and don't like how Nancy Pelosi has made them actually have to earn their money up there.

6. Thanks; makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why 5 Dems |
|
would cast a 'nv', unless they're not there. And yes, the rethugs aren't lacking in nerve but I'm enjoying watching the payback.

7. You can't vote 'nv'... |
|
'nv' means not voting. It means that the member is absent. If a member wants to vote but not take a position, he can vote present.

8. That's why I said I didn't understand the 'nv'. It was up to 6 Dems |
|
'nv-ing' and the count decreased; and why wouldn't they want to vote on Boehner's adjournment. I'm trying to learn what all this means finally; it hasn't been worth much to watch in a long time.

4. Well, we know it can't be because he's a hypocrite* |
|
So I can't fathom what the reason might be.
*All the talking chuckleheads say that it's the Democrats who flip-flop, but it's Republicans who adjust to reality on the ground. So Republicans can never e-e-e-ever be hypocrites, saying one thing and doing something else entirely. Teevee tells me so.
