6. No, unfortunately it's not a joke and was an insult to the troops

the woman who called in made it a point to bash the troops - she said that when they say out loud "we don't know what we're fighting for", and, "we shouldn't be here", it's because they're not manly enough to fight to the death for "what's right".

It was veddy-veddy strange.

My nephew, a Marine, told my sister, his mom, on the phone recently that the reason the country wants the U.S. out of Iraq is because men have become too soft.

My mom & I rolled our eyes at that one. Btw, during our family get-together at Christmas, my mom & my oldest brother exchanged some heated words about Iraq. She told me she could have used my help but it happened before I had gotten there.
