Edwards to speak at UI

Former senator and vice presidential candidate John Edwards will speak on the University of Iowa campus on Saturday.
Edwards, who is vying for the second time for the Democratic nomination for president, will hold a “town hall” meeting at 2 p.m. at the Iowa Memorial Union to discuss President George W. Bush’s plan to increase troop levels in Iraq, according to a press release from the Edwards campaign. No other details were given.
