Media already drumming up the coming war with Iran

According to the New York Times, Defense Secretary Gates says the U.S. has very little leverage to negotiate with Iran on it's atomic program and CNN now announces that Iran is helping Shi'ite militants with weapons and training. And Bush wants a surge and the Democrats may cave in on this? And some Democrats want to see the draft come back???Am I the only one that is connecting the dots here? Man, no wonder they just moved up the Doomsday Clock! :scared:

If the U.S. goes ahead with an attack on Iran, it will be the official start of World War III. You can count on that.

2. Let's get all the bad guys and
I think I'll go around with a sign saying nuke all the bad guys. Hey they can be crazy but I think I and whoever wants to join can be crazier. Obviously they don't see any consequences when you talk reality, so if we all demand this maybe they will see some sense.

3. Perhaps we should be mobilizing to head this ....
... off PREEMPTIVELY.

Much as some in congress ( eg. Schumer in the senate, Engel in the house)have been laying the groundwork for years to make it happen.

Let's insist our elected DEMS go on record with a no 'first strike' type resolution re. Syria and Iran.

It will effectively hobble neocon plans for a regional war by making people go on the record while antiwar sentiment is at a peak.

Now's the time, seems to me.

4. If they don't get on board ...
they can't have any "exclusive" coverage because their reporters can't be embedded with the troops (and getting protection) ... if they happen to stray outside the protection of the troops (which are likely instructed to keep the reporters away from the really bad stuff), there's no telling what might happen to the reporter ;)

6. Of course, just like the encouraged war with Iraq. It's the ratings "stupid."
I loath them greatly. At times like this I think we DO need a fargen draft.
