1. Do we have final results from Maine?
Since this thread is about Maine, might be handy to know.

7. Same as at noon.
If that holds up he should get 5 delegates. But who knows, without 100% of results, you can't figure the percentages.

9. Well, also depends on the distribution.
16 delegate are for the two CDs, with 8 per CD; while 8 are at large. We don't exactly have the data to know.

Interestingly, the Green Papers has Kucinich w/1 delegate in WA, from a congressional district where get got 18% of the state delegates

3. hmm
the results from WA and ME weren't depressing at all. DK should end up getting delegates from maine. he will get more on "super tuesday" as well. i wouldn't expect him to do really well in tennessee and virginia, really.

His supporters are great. Although I'm a Dean supporter, I wish the rest of the nation would see the benefit of having DK in the White House.

16. There are times like this
When my faith in my fellow Democrats simply fails me – More Tennessee Democrats voted today for “uncommitted” than voted for Congressman Kucinich – WTF!

35. Well, what can we really expect when the media -- our only source of news
and therefore people whom we have to hope we can trust to mostly tell us the truth, tells us repeatedly that DK is a joke, unworthy of notice. I can't completely blame working people for falling for it, can you?

28. I refuse to lose hope in Dennis Kucinich.
Edited on Wed Feb-11-04 12:38 AM by The Blue Knight
I'm 17 years old, and this is the first time I've actually researched a candidate, and words cannot describe how passionate I am about Kucinich.

I'm in the middle of Bush country, but damnit, I'm spreading the word of Kucinich. Right now I've got 8 of my friends, who don't follow politics (but I'm working on that) to cast their vote for the Menace himself in the Ohio primaries on March 2nd.

36. Very good Blue Knight.
I am 50 years old and not only is this the first time I totally know a candidate it is the first time I actually like and trust a candidate. I think for a good many of us this is the reason we are not willing to give up.

31. Here’s to you, Maine and Washington
http://www.lesspress.com/heres-to-you.htm
Here’s to you, Maine and Washington
(to the tune of Mrs Robinson)

We’ve heard you say a little bit about him to the world
We’ve heard you say that he can help us out, yeah
Look around you, all of us are longing to be heard
Crying silently until we find a voice

And here’s to you, Maine and Washington
We all owe you more than you will know (Woo woo woo)
God bless you please, Maine and Washington
Heaven holds a place for you today (Hey hey hey, hey hey hey)

They’d like to hide the light of peace and justice from the world
Buried in the cellar with their Skull ‘n’ Bones
It’s our little secret, but it’s going to be heard,
Do they think that they can hide it from the kids?

And here’s to you, Maine and Washington,
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you (Woo woo woo)
God bless you please, Maine and Washington,
Heaven holds a place for you today (Hey hey hey, hey hey hey)

Sitting on the sofa is no way to save the world,
Go and join the candidates debate, yeah
Laugh about it, shout about it, let your voice be heard,
Speak your heart or else your heart will lose...

Where did it go, our democracy?
Now we need it more than we can know (Woo woo woo)
What’s that you say, Maine and Washington?
Take it back, we won’t be turned away (Hey hey hey, hey hey hey)

32. Someone tell me if I am right:
heard that DK got a Washington delegate because he got 18% in one Congressional district.
Fact or fiction?

Someone clue me in about how to do all those pictures and avatars. I want the picture that John Kleeb used to have. Dennis is soooo handsome in that picture!!
