Obama's My guy.in '08.
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 12:48 PM by Capn Sunshine
Discuss all you want , but I'm working for this guy because he provides the kind of leadership and inspiration I haven't seen in a candidate since Howard Dean. His grasp of the subtleties of folks fears and aspirations is magnificent, and if he were President, our country might regain its standing the the world that has been squandered in the past six years.

Any DU folk who want to start infrastructure in California, please email me

6. I would go for both Wes Clark, and Al Gore first,
but if neither of them run, then I guess I will be supporting Obama.

I could never support anyone who didn't have the judgement to know that going into Iraq would be a bad idea.

5. Clark first for me
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 12:52 PM by Pithy Cherub
but if he elects not to, I am behind enemy lines in the OC and will gladly keep your email to help him. Many people down here assume I am for Obama first because I am black, so it lets me speak to Clark first and say great things about Obama! ;)

9. Agreed. Of the candidates in the race
Excluding Clark, Obama is my favorite. We need to know more about him in a concrete manner, but my gut says he is a very logical, eloquent person.

In the end though, I have made a vow to myself to not outright trash ANY of our potential candidates, and will work hard for and vote for whomever gets the nomination. I worked my ass off for Wes in 03-04, but the bottom line is, the USA needs the CONS out of the executive branch like yesterday!

10. Go for it - and godspeed!
I won't be in your hair; quite the contrary - I salute your enthusiasm and energy.

We both pursue the same end result: reversing the clock so it goes forward again, and returning to improving things in this country, with a solid Democratic President.

Good luck with the campaign in the Golden State!

If Gore doesn't throw his hat in the ring, it's Obama or Clark for me.
