Wes Clark!
And guess what he said......he MAY run!
We talked Healthcare, unions, Iraq and Iran.
Think he's waiting to see how much Iran is about to get a "ramp-up"...cause that's one of his chief concerns! He wants to make sure that there is a credible competent candidate in the race that can speak on this issue. If there are none, then he's in.
Here's the deal on Iran:Don't let Bush drive drunk on power

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. contingency planning for military action against Iran's nuclear program goes beyond limited strikes and would effectively unleash a war against the country, a former U.S. intelligence analyst said on Friday.
"I've seen some of the planning ...
You're not talking about a surgical strike," said Wayne White, who was a top Middle East analyst for the State Department's bureau of intelligence and research until March 2005.
"You're talking about a war against Iran" that likely would destabilize the Middle East for years, White told the Middle East Policy Council, a Washington think tank.
this appeared last night on Reuters and hasn't seemed to be picked up widely. If this is the plan General Clark heard about before he talked to Huffington Post, no wonder he was "steamed." Given the report by Larry Wilkerson, that Iran was willing to help the US in Iraq in 2003, as they were in Afghanistan and were rebuffed, seems to show a pattern of intent by the White House. Apparently, it was Cheney himself who said "we don't talk to evil people." It's as if the entire middle east plan was designed by the secret energy group who met with Cheney. One could get the impression those people who are in the business of extracting oil and natural gas from the earth had designs on Iraq and Iran, because those countries are both rich in resources. Both countries shut out the western energy companies, which used to operate in those countries under regimes set up by the United States. Looks like regime change in Iraq and Iran were the goal of that group in order to make the contracts favorable to their companies. All anybody has to do is read Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, to see how this pattern repeats itself around the globe. Oddly, Iran was the first country this scheme first played out bringing in the Shah. It's time to take away the "keys" to the arsenal from Bush. Congress isn't supposed to let presidents drive drunk on power.
