Hillary will have 3 live video chats next week and wants YOU to ask her questions
No matter where you live, no matter what your political views, I want you to be a part of this important conversation right at the start. So to begin, I'm going to spend the next several days answering your questions in a series of live video web discussions. Starting Monday, January 22, at 7 p.m. EST for three nights in a row, I'll sit down to answer your questions about how we can work together for a better future. And you can participate live at my website. Sign up to join the conversation here.

Edited on Sun Jan-21-07 02:36 PM by Tellurian
It's a big one...w/caveats..

When will you be able to HELP families who have lost loved ones in the IW?

***** a) will the extent of your help be based on whether you are elected president or not?

***** b) what can families do now to STOP this War and bring the troops home?

Just to add..That isn't a sign up per se..

9. Those people really believe that all it takes is money and political
power to win. :eyes: The American Electorate is not as stupid as the media and corporations believe. Remember, the M$M was favoring republicans but it was DEMOCRATS who won both houses. The people are not led by the nose when their pocket book is taking major hits they make themselves SMART. ;)

All the money in the world will not make Hillary Clinton trustworthy to us chattering classes. Yes, we saw Hil's head up the ass of many powerful right wingers and other corporate elites. Please don't assume that the American people will forget all that pandering which is indicative of a person who doesn't care about the Average American but only about her own political ambitions.

She can hold a million video conferences and give us all free pencils, Hillary is NOT going to win. The media and right wing (they want her to win ONLY the nomination) really needs to get over themselves.

6. Some Questions That Come To Mind...
1. Why did some Congressional Democrats know to vote against the Iraq War, while others only wish they did?
2. Have you suggested to Chelsea that she leave her hedge fund job to go fight in Iraq?
3. How can middle-class Americans compete with Chinese labor that earns $2 a day?
4. Since you evaded a move to censure Bush over warrantless wiretapping, you must either think that it does not clearly violate the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution, or you think that clearly violating the Constitution is not worth censuring a President over. Which is it?
5. Will you swear that you had nothing to do with Carville's scathing attacks on Dean after the last elections? Will you publicly rebuke Carville for these attacks, as you rebuked Kerry for his stumbling joke?

8. Sign up, Manny. If she wants to run, it's our duty to ask her those things.
Make her run the gauntlet if she wants the nomination.

She's not getting it just because she's married to that NAFTA-signing former president.

7. Here's two: Why does she think 30% interest is good for the middle class
Edited on Sat Jan-20-07 10:21 PM by davidwparker
and poor? And, why isn't job loss and medical emergency still allowed as reasons for bankruptcy? Isn't it un-American not to give someone down on their luck a second chance?

Since her NAFTA-signing husband was in the WH, there are a lot of Americans out of work or underemployed.

on edit: I just signed up. Since she isn't my favorite candidate, I'm still going to participate. I want to hear for myself what she has to say. These people are going to EARN my vote in primaries for the president.

13. to continue: Why do we house our mentally ill on the streets?
Why isn't chronic depression qualification for SSI assistance but chronic obesity is?

When will housing US citizens take budget priority over invading other nations?

How many US citizens have to go without medical insurance while congress gets full benefits?

Explain why the US is the worlds leading prison state and why you think this is a good thing?

Why does congress think an adequate response to climate change is to burn more coal?

Explain why 2 families should have a stranglehold on the presidency for over 20 years. Demonstrate how this is good for democracy.

12. No she doesn't
Why did you vote for the war?

Why did you support bankruptcy reform?

What's up with the whole flag burning thing?

What the hell's your problem with video games?

I'm guessing that those aren't the sort of questions she's looking for.

16. For those thinking about submitting your question: witness something called "screening"...
If you think Senator will be blindly picking up a phone and talking to the next person without someone first finding out EXACTLY WHAT they have to say, you're living in a FANTASY WORLD.

Here's how it's done:

There is a pre-set list of questions.

From the hundreds/thousands calls/emails/chats/etc submitted, they will actively search for the questions on the list and answer them in the pre-determined order.

They may actually *read* some of the submissions for new ideas on how the Senator can defeat the others in the primary.

Thanks for participating!

You know as well as I do, whatever she responds to the questions asked,
will be cast in Stone in someone's archives somewhere.

For whats at stake, she's doing the right thing.
She will be held to account for her words.

Fair is Fair!

19. like her or not, I think that it is a prettty innovative way
to reach out. I think it also speaks to a recognition of the power of the 'net and netroots. If for no other reason, these are, imho, noteworthy.

20. How about why she felt it was necessary to stab a fellow Democrat in the back
and reinforce a RW smear campaign against Senator Kerry. With people like her in the party, we don't need enemies.
