Need advice on DemStore (Clark stuff) again...

Need advice on DemStore (Clark stuff) again...
Last week I posted a thread asking if anyone else had had trouble with DemStore taking a LOOOONG time to ship. Lots of people had.

Well, it has now been three weeks since I ordered--nothing has arrived. I have contacted DemStore three times via email...no responses...called their 800 number...no responses.

I went back to the Clark04 campaign site--and saw that Clark doesn't receive ANY funds from DemStore--not a single percent of the profit goes to his campaign. Knowing this, and since the damned primaries will be over before the stuff arrives, and since they did not ship by our February meetup (for which I NEEDED the stuff), I want to cancel my order.

But, I can't get anyone to respond to me, and I don't even know if DemStore allows you to cancel orders.

Also, if they have already shipped, I am wondering if I can just not accept the shipment from UPS, and then if DemStore will post a credit on my credit card.

I am so frustrated with these people I don't know what to do!

I want to cancel the order and go to ebay and buy what I need, as another DUer advised me.

Someone help me: Tell me how to deal with DemStore. Can I cancel an order? Can I refuse shipment? If I do, will my funds be credited back to my credit card account?

Note: I have NOT given up on Clark, but I HAVE given up on DemStore. Do not ever buy from them unless you have MONTHS to wait.

1. Call your credit card company and cancel the order.
Don't let them pay it.

9. I just called them...
they said that DemStore hasn't made the charge yet, so they can't do anything. She said that as soon as the charge comes in, to call them back, and they will call DemStore and (she said) "I bet they will answer when WE call them."

Dammit, I hate it when stuff like this happens.

4. Why don't you just call/write your credit
card company and have them cancel the payment to DemStore?

Then when you get the stuff, you can just return it to them and say it got to you too late to be of any use.

5. They did take forever to ship, but I was able to cancle pretty easily

7. Wow! You still haven't got your stuff yet?
I remember your last post. Thanks for the heads up, I won't do any shopping there!

I just ordered some shirts last week from other sites. Glad it wasn't them.

Good luck. I hope it doesn't take as long to get your money back as it has to NOT get your stuff.

8. No, still haven't received it...talked to my credit card company just now
and they said that Dem Store hasn't charged my account yet, so I am trying yet again to get in touch with them to tell them to cancel my order.

Aaargh!!!
