Clinton's camp fires first salvo - Newsday.co talking about trying to get this country together this statement doesn't give me a lot of confidence

3. Obama and Edwards campaigns are failing what kind of BS is that first of all...
Edited on Mon Jan-22-07 09:29 AM by bigdarryl
there are no campaigns yet. Obama isn't even announcing he's running until Feb. and Edwards is supposed to be failing what a fucking joke that is. he's been all over the place campaigning.this just goes to show how ARROGANT some of the people in the Clinton camp are. they think they have this race locked up already.

4. She seems really insecure.
She is 20+ points in front of Obama in the latest poll, the media have already intronized her, and she (or her staff) feels these types of attacks necessary...

They do not seem to have confidence in her ability.

5. I agree
that it makes her come off as insecure, and a bully.

No one likes a bully. If she's so strong and so far ahead, why would she be wasting time beating up on the others?

8. Yep, this looks like a planted article..
They are taking quotes out of context and reworking the spin.
Not a good thing!

6. Please remember the Hillary Clinton Ruperty Murdoch connections
see CBS news article "Rupert Murdoch Loves Hillary Clinton". The article reminds us of the fundraiser that Murdoch held for her in 2006 and shows their growing "relationship".

Here's a brief snip.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/09/politics/main...

"Clinton has worked hard to take the edge off her reputation as a card-carrying liberal. She has has collaborated with congressional conservatives on some peices of legislation, called for a "common ground" on abortion and cut a political figure some on the left see as decidedly un-liberal."

Let's remember that Hillary is in bed with the Murdoch Machine. A vote for Hill in 08 is a vote for the status quo. Why would Murdoch support her financially if they did not agree on the fundementals?

9. Hillary isn't doing nearly as well in early primary and caucus states,
particularly Iowa, where she trails Obama, Edwards and ex-Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack.

Hillary's poor showing in Iowa to her absence and lashed out at candidates who have made frequent stops in the state. "While some candidates have been in Iowa and New Hampshire for years, running as permanent presidential candidates, Hillary has been working hard as a senator for New York,

Hillary; I'm worried about the future of our country and I want to help put it back on the right course. I believe I am best-positioned to be able to do that and that's why I'm running."

An Obama spokesman had no comment nor did Edwards, smart moves, Hillary will announce exactly where she's coming from and this show will then finally be on it's way.

10. Hillary comes on like Bushie, "don't bother me with the facts.
I'm the bestest, 'cuz Bill and Chelsea told me so. Doesn't matter what Iowa voters think, or polls showing me losing to top Republican contenders (when Edwards bests both). Oh no, I'm the bestest! I'm in it to win it! I have the best sound byte writers, and that's what matters, cuz Rupert told me so!"

13. I think it's frustrating to her (and her camp)
That she's not 'scaring off' other candidates.

With Richardson in and more evidence that Clark may announce in the next few weeks, her arguments seem particularly lame.
