The only way a Republican will win is if the corpmedia PROTECTS him the way they did for Bush in his races.

McCain may have blown his own chances with the media in his recent appearances, because corpmedia does best with candidates who make LESS frequent appearances and statements.

I think BROADCAST corpmedia favorites this time out will be Giuliani and Romney. Giuliani also has many NBC media in pocket, including SNL producers and writers who have kissed his ass for over a decade, and I think they will be there for him in a presidential contest.

Who do YOU think will get the corpmedia wall of protection?

2. I think McCain has already been given a pass.
And I don't see that changing. I agree with your comments about Giuliani.

3. "...because corpmedia does best with candidates who make LESS frequent appearances and statements"
Remember when numerous GOP candidates were vying for the nomination in 2000? I believe there were half a dozen or so who were scheduled to appear at one particular debate. One candidate didn't show up...Geo. W. Bush. I remember thinking to myself that he's shooting himself in the foot because voters will wonder why he refused to debate and not vote for him.

Of course, that was before I realized the fix was in and that he didn't have to debate, or make public appearances. And you're correct--CorpoMedia does best in promoting candidates, especially stupid ignorant ones, when that person appears in public less frequently.

I suppose it's easier to protect him by writing about him, making up shit and controlling the message, instead of letting him speak and trying to cover what stupid, ignorant statements he makes...

4. The REAL Question Is: Will It Make Any Difference?
Is there enough money in the world to induce Americans onto another GOP merry-go-round?

Are there linguists gifted enough to twist the over-tortured language into squeezing out a win for another Son-of-a-Bush, a Bush-lite, or the New Improved Anti-Bush?

I don't think so. I think a wall has come down, the line has been crossed, and the limits of power exceeded. Just as with Vietnam/Watergate, things will never go back to the way they once were.

The Fascists will have to find some other dodge, some new shell game. I hope that will take time. They've tried poisoning religion, they've tried poisoning college and other education, they poisoned Business, but Businees died of it from all the fraud, they tried poisoning women back in the 50's, and blacks before that, but we aren't going back, and neither are the non-heteros. They poisoned the Armed Forces, but Iraq blew their cover, and Congress will clean out the Air Force soon. And the Internet bloggers (take a bow, all of us), have done in the poisoned Media. Science? Don't make me laugh!

So, what's left? Health care? Gone down the shoot. Local politics? One of the first places the revolt started.

Did I miss any area of penetration still vulnerable to attack?

Nope. With all their strings and buddies, even the Federal Govt' can't be kept tied up. Those strings are fraying, coming untied, or being cut by Reality.

7. Media complicity also covers up for GOP election fraud. Time and time again.

5. Not much chance for GOP in 2008
The fix will not be in for a GOP candidate in 2008. Instead it will be for a Democratic candidate. They know that a Democrat will win so they will back the least offensive most corporate Democrat they can find.
That is what we need to watch out for.
That decision will probably be made soon. You will see all media move to protecting that person by Dec 2007 to make them the de facto nominee despite what the people want.

9. yeah, but his act has been on display TOO MUCH in recent years. Medi will have
too tough a sell for McCain now.

Bush was also partying with McCain for his birthday while the levees were breaking in New Orleans. Not a pretty picture for the moderates McCain hoped to attract.
