Can Hillary pull a George Bush and refuse to talk about the past.
When Bush was a candidate and was asked about his alcoholism, etc. he would refuse to talk about it saying "That was in the past."

It worked for George. Hillary should do the same.

In fact if it were me, I'd say something like "This is one time Bush and I agree - the past is in the past. I'm here to talk about the future of America."

PS That goes for Bill also - just refuse to talk about the past. In the words of Nancy Reagan "Just say no."

4. Good point. Nothing really. I guess the press will want to rehash the same old rumors and
innuendos. She should refuse to do it.

8. She's not completely clean nor was Bill
I don't intend to list stuff in the public record. Some they can thank McAuliffe for.

10. That hasn't been re-hashed 666 times by the RW media
or made up by Dick "Toe-Sucker" Morris (isn't he the one who claimed that there was a Christmas tree decorated with condoms in the WH?)?

5. What the hell are you talking about?
What past. That she didn't kick her husband out? Many women try to salvage their marriages after hubby strays. Maybe she likes him. The health thing. Too bad it didn't pass. Today people would love to have it. The Insurance companies did that in. No money to be made by them. What else? Caring about young children in schools and their education? Is it being a smart intelligent woman? White water was a dream made up by the repuks. Get real folks she is in the same position that Kerry is in. They are scared shitless that she will win and the country will see what a mistake they made with bush. Lets hear what they all have to say and make a decision then. Don't close your minds, listen objectively. The one thing that irks me about DU is that so many are so closed minded. I suspect that a little more maturity will open their eyes to what the republicans are trying to do to us.

11. I wish my past were as clean and productive as Hillary's.
The reason Bush won't talk about his past is that there's nothing in it not to be ashamed of.
