Possible Hillary 'swiftboat' achilles
the Rose law firm records.

Now, I know that nothing came of the Starr/Whitewater investigations, but there was that funny business with those billing records suddenly appearing in her assistant's files 6 months after she claimed to have removed them from the First Lady's "book room".

Two descriptions of this issue are here:

http://archive.salon.com/news/feature/2000/03/06/hillary_clinton/print.html

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/arkansas/docs/recs.html

also, the 'Travelgate' brouha, which was (apparently) central to Vince Foster's depression

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/arkansas/etc/foster.html

I'm throwing these out there for debate or- there's just no "there" there.

Paid Clinton campaign staff is of course welcome to respond.

7. I'm not on anyone's staff
and I was a Kerry backer in '04, and hedging bets now.
However, this may all seem old to us, but so didn't Kerry's Vietnam exploits and VVAW participation- that didn't stop the RW hate/spin machine from using it against him- their vendettas run deep.
So, just 18 months ahead of time, I'm looking at how they will possibly impugn her? What will they use to discredit her?

8. Here's something to do. Instead of dirt digging on OUR candidates how about the other slubs?
Have we heard enough about Rudy's fascism and familla picadilloes?

Have we heard enough about the Straight Talk Express turning into the 2nd most reliable Bush mouthpiece this side of FoxNews?

Have we heard anything dirty on Mitt?

5. It is this kind of over the top attack...
That only helps Hillary...

How many times are Clinton enemies going to go overboard in their attacks before they realize they ALWAYS lose to the Clinton's in the end...

Keep it up I say...at this rate she will win unanimously!!!!

6. Yeah, America has heard enough of Whitewater. And Rose.
Edited on Mon Jan-22-07 02:57 PM by AndyA
Years and millions were spent trying to hang something on the Clinton's, and nothing ever came of it. Hey, I hear Monica is looking for more publicity, maybe drag her onto O'Lielly's show wearing a blue dress...

If they want to open up this again, I say we prioritize and also throw the Bush Administration into the pile. There should be enough there to keep everyone busy for quite a while, and at least it's timely.

9. She cannot be "Swiftboated"
Putting aside any other issues, Hillary Clinton can never be "Swiftboated." Every personal story about her and former President Clinton has been unearthed, investigated, and publicized to death. Period. Unless the right can pull something from the woodwork that is totally new, every story about her past will be very old news.

10. Locking
We do not need recycled right-wing smears here, and the closing invitation to "paid Clinton staff" is a group troll accusation in violation of forum rules.
