I hope the Dems show restraint tomorrow evening. It is important
that GWB realize they are attending because they have to. What could possibly be said to applaud, what could he state his accomplishments have been to applaud??? I want the announcement of "Madam Speaker" to be loud and the Democrats to stand and applaud her, and that be the only time they show any encouragement during this farce. I realize there is probably a certain amount of protocol that must be met, I'm also pretty sure there are a lot of Repugs who will also be restrained. Bush needs to realize his low ratings are for real. Put a fork in the SOB, he's done....

2. It will be interesting to listen
and watch the response. Some will rise and some will applaud out of respect for the office. But that might be all that they do. I can't remember back to Clinton's last couple of SOTU speeches--how did the Republican majority treat him?

4. They should sit in their seats
with their hands in their laps. That will speak volumes.

7. Oh he's going to set them up with a bunch of stuff they'll have to
stand and clap for like:

blah blah blah, but all Americans, Democrats and Republicans are united in our wishes to prevent the terra'ists from attacking again. (clap, clap, clap)

blah blah blah, but we all look forward to the day when there's peace in the world. (clap, clap, clap)

blah blah blah, and we must put the future of America before partisan politics. (clap, clap, clap)

Our soliders are brave and deserve our thanks and praise (clap, clap, clap)

:eyes:

You see? They will write this so there will be plenty of Democratic applause.

The other side may be despicable and criminal, but they're not stupid when it comes to this.

9. I hope they sit there all stoney
faced and uncaring to him. I want to see him have a melt down on teebee. I don't think he is far from it. He looks awful lately (not that I care, he SHOULD look awful)like he is sick or drunk or coked up on something. His nose is red, his eyes are red....his hair - well, let's just say the grecian formula is no longer working. I think he's been on his ranch too long as he looks all wrinkled.

Bottom line - he looks like he is ready to lose it. I wonder if he'll have his little back pack on tomorrow night.

Hope Ms. Pelosi has had her shots, doesn't deadeye get to sit next to her behind chimpy?

10. If the Dems sit stoney faced that might be enough to push his
crazy ass over the edge and show the American citizens and the world what a nut he is...

I say he drops 10-15 points tomorrow night...

12. I'd prefer them all to turn their backs to him or simply walk out
He is not deserving of respect so none should be granted. And that would let him know that he is done for real.
