which progressive organizations do you trust?
i was going to do this as a poll but you guys would have come up with other alternatives anyway so . . .

i am not totally pleased with what i am hearing about the bills passed by the house. i understand that the dems have to work with the repugs, but it looks to me like the medicare bill is weak as is the minimum wage bill. that said, which organizations do you believe will do the most to keep the dems on the right track? there are so many nowadays. does anyone have some definitive info on groups like dfa, pfaw, democrats.com? i do not want to enable business as usual with the dems, some of whom are still beholden to corporate interests.

thanks for any suggestions and insights. if we don't have a listing of these groups, perhaps we should?

1. democrats.com and afterdowningstreet.com
are pursuing impeachment- the obvious course of action to remove a criminal president.

2. Common Dreams has a great article about this up
It talks about how easy the lobbyists are having it with the new congress, unfortunately.

4. i am particularly looking for someone to help be my
voice. the dems need to be held accountable to US . . . and not just for iraq. i want to help those organizations that recognize that.

(i'm listening to katrina van den heuvel. she knows what i am talking about. i guess i better get my ltte pen out.)
